Hotel Jules proposes 2 room atmospheres: a vintage spirit and a contemporary style. Standard rooms are available in both versions.
Vintage rooms’ decoration draws its inspiration from the 50s, 60s, and 70s. Bright light blue wallpapers are enhanced by blue-grey curtains. A large white comforter covers the bed that leans against a wooden head-board, with bedsides matching the walls color and a lamp shelf. A dressing table/desk with triptych mirror gets its inspiration from the 50s. A multifunction black stele (stool, pedestal table, bedside table…) brings a note of “artist workshop”. On the wall, there is a mouth in white resin – recurrent element in the hotel – and next to it, a little white mirror. The lighting is made of several points of light.
In the contemporary rooms, the general atmosphere is a little more “masculine” with straight lines and geometrical patterns. One of the walls, the one behind the head-board, is entirely covered with imitation leather check pattern wallpaper, in dark chocolate/light brown shades that brings rhythm and modernity to the whole.
The hotel offers standard rooms on the street side and a few on a courtyard. Those rooms are smaller but cozy and very comfortable with a large bed and high end bedding.
Bathrooms
In the vintage rooms, the bathrooms are equipped with a retro style white bowl. A travel toilet bag in black leather has been reinterpreted on the wall. Walls have white tiles that evoke a retro style. The floor is a mosaic of matt black tiles. The bathrooms are also equipped with spacious Italian shower with large shower head.
Bathrooms of the contemporary rooms have white and black tiles on the walls, large chocolate shade tiles on the floor, and spacious Italian shower or bathtub.
Hotel amenities (shampoo, soap…) are from the brand Pharmacopia – a product line with subtle sent of citrus. This line is made with natural and organic ingredients.
